INFRASTRUCTURE OF LIBRARY

 

OWN BUILDING:

Under Local Library Authority, Tirunelveli 64 library functions. 1 District library, 2 Regional library, 1 Full time library, 5 Branch library, 2 Rural library and 1 Part time library are running in a compact building.

RENTAL BUILDING:

1 Regional library, 3 branch library totally 4 libraries are functioning in rental building.

FREE BUILDING:

9 Branch Library, 14 Village Library and 25 Part Time Library are functioning in free building

COMPUTERISED LIBRARY:

The district library has been computerized with facilities including e-mail and e-mail at the base of the Indemnity Funding Fund of the Rajaram Mohanroy. There is also an opportunity to find information about the books that have been interlinked through the internet.

READERS CIRCLE:

The readers Circle is being played by the library members and local prominent personalities who have made their major contributions of the Libraries.
